IMG-7672 (1).JPG

Makelle Terrels is a Holistic Health Practitioner and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science specializing in Neuroscience, Chemistry, and Biology and has a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.  She performed five combined years of research for Alzheimer’s disease at Pitt, and Spinal Cord Injury research in the department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at Drexel University’s College of Medicine. She attended TMC: Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai Thailand and received her Thai Massage Therapist and Teaching degrees in the spring of 2009.

Upon her return to America, Makelle started her own private practice “Healing Hands: the Touch of Thai” for Thai Massage in Pennsylvania, as well as taught level 1 Thai Massage for Premier Salons in 12 major cities around the United States. She received her first two degrees of Reiki in 2010 and returned to Thailand in 2012 for a course in Medicinal Qi-Gong. Makelle continued her studies in this therapeutic energy work in Philadelphia in 2016 and began her third degree of Reiki Master in 2019.

Over the past decade Makelle has developed her own style using a combination of these modalities and has witnessed clients and students reduce their pain and stress levels, improve their sleep, and have an overall better and relaxed life (just to name a few!). She has also found her technique to aid women with infertility issues, and has helped several become pregnant even after doctors of Western Medicine had lost hope. Makelle has expanded her practice to also include Emotional Freedom Technique  (E.F.T aka “Tapping”) and coaching. It has become her goal to spread the healing practices of the East around the world, and show the public we have the power to heal ourselves!
